I have found that the neem oil Doesn’t work as well for the moths and Catapillar’s as it does for the squash bugs and Beatles. But I found something that does. After I used it no moths we’re coming near it anymore. At least that I could see but there were no new eggs. And when I sprayed it directly on the Catapillar I could watch a curl up it just stop. It’s hard to do any kind of bug control with this nonstop rain. I think the bugs know this because they’ll sit there and eat at my plants in the rain. I read somewhere sprinkling fresh coffee grounds Around your squash plants is supposed to help deter the squash bugs. They say the Sent confuses themI just did a neem oil and DE spray. The stuff won't affect the moths. I'm going to try to remove as many eggs as I can before the next rain, then spray again. Luckily, the eggs come up pretty easily with a little sticky tape.
