What did you do in the garden today?

Made it through the initial listing of all of our seeds. We have 120 varieties.

They are a mix of purchased, saved, and traded. So, sadly, I probably don't need to purchase any this year.

Not sure how I feel about that ... I saved carrot seed last year and just popped the heads in a paper sack. So I went through and separated the seeds out. I literally have an entire handful of carrot seeds, like baseball size. I think I could feed the 5000 with no problem.

There is a thread on here for trading seeds! You could participate, and if your have extra you want to get rid of I'm always here... just sayin' LOL.
I'm trying to start a garden and since I have a brown thumb I'm not above begging to try to save $ until I learn and get the hang of this whole gardening thing... cause last year all my money spent was in vain as everything died!

seeds, glass gem corn, bantam corn. I have a little truckers' delight & bloody butcher corns. We're hoping to stock up some for winter feed.

I'm saving seeds from my store bought produce. I know some won't produce true, but I can't spend a lot of $$ on it again this year if it doesn't work out so step one is learning how to garden with cheap or free seeds LOL!

I do that as well. Peppers and tomatoes seem to be good enough. and you get to eat the outsides while you wait on your garden.
And sometimes I will have a cantaloupe that is so good, I can not bear to though out the seed.

Look at seedsforthee.com
You can buy cheap seeds, what they call sample sizes. Some things do not grow well for me personally, this lets me try w/o a big commitment.

I like victoryseed.com too
Bought glass gem corn for 2015
