Cut them once they loop around once. I like them in a frittata. Or grilled with veggies. Or just put oil & salt on them & grill them. Only hardneck garlic has scapes, softneck does not. It tastes like mild garlic - I love them! Yum!I am aware of the scape, but didn't know when to cut it or how to cook it. So it has a garlic taste? Is it like green onion, but the garlic version?
