What did you do in the garden today?

Nice garden beds!
I watered everything, ate a few peas (yep those suckers won't be seeing a dinner table), finally got to plant out my squash that have been in pots since February, weeded a little, and ate my first batch of new potatoes.

Hahahaha @ peas won't see the table! I was successful with peas this year...until my dog figured out she likes to pick n eat them too. Last year all the lower oranges on the sastuma tree were for her and my 4 yr old daughter. They pick them (dog chooses her own lol), sit in the grass and eat them. I really thought the orange thing was weird...til I caught the dog picking peas :hmm I love them lol

I feel your pain. I just replanted these asparagus ferns in these HUGE planters. New planters are the size of large tractor tires...took 2 days for me to roll planters to spots, fill and transplant. I was soooo happy and so were the ferns! Under the roof eves near a window...Until it rained and water just poured in from the roof! Der. Now it weighs 1000lbs, full of water and drowning the fern slowly. :( Ug. Apparently my drain holes were top small or clogged. Still have to fix it lol just haven't figured out how! Tried siphon hahaha can't in mudd I learned. Tried drilling holes, pressure clogs them asap. Gave up this week due to other issues lol hope the fern pulls through! Can't get it outta there this week.

Oh, well, next year you can adapt it. Once I forgot to put proper drainage into a container and my plants D-R-O-W-N-E-D!

I've heard of dogs eating oranges before but not peas. Lol. We had a dog that loved green tomatoes. He steal them off the vines but he wouldn't touch the red ones. It was odd.

Nice beds x2. Love the rock around them. Seems it'd be a lot cleaner (lotsa rain here makes everything soggy)
Thanks.
I did the same in my garden, it definitely makes it cleaner.

Hand pollinated my first female flower on my Chiogga di Marina squash, planted some Jade bush green beans and nasturtiums, watered everything, ate a few more peas, moved some big pots to the front deck for tomatoes, and pondered life for awhile. If I had a pool, i'd be floating on a raft in the middle of it sound asleep ... but I don't have a pool. Sigh.
