What did you do in the garden today?

we both got our dental work done before we moved while we still had dental coverage. Plus I'm extremely terrified of dentists so I'll need to build up my courage for a bit.
When I was a kid back in the 70's, a sadistic dentist gave me a filling with no novocaine - what a horrible experience. Ever since, I was terrified of dentists, to the point I lost a crown and let it go for years, in spite of pain that ranged from "not bad as long as I never chew on that side" to periodically excruciating. I finally couldn't put off taking care of it any longer, but by that time it was too far gone for a normal dentist and I had to go to an endodontist.

It actually turned out a great experience, because I'd never had a dental procedure with gas before (nitrous oxide I think it is) and it made a huge difference. The gas went over my nose but I could breathe through my mouth as well, so I could regulate the amount - the feeling that I had control, I think played a major part in my comfort level.
Three hours of sitting there, with them digging into my jaw and installing a new crown went by in what seemed like 1/2 hour, just chilling to the Muzac.

Ever since then, I've not been scared at all of the dentist - several extractions and two implants later, my teeth are finally in good shape and I no longer have jaw muscle pain, jaw cracking, or chronic headaches that used to come from chewing painfully and unevenly.

Of course, this pain-free and good quality care happened because I became lucky enough to have good dental coverage through my job. Not having coverage sucks big-time.
Now that the corn is gone I can see the luffa that climbed into the corn patch - only three this year but one is absolutely gigantic.
So jealous! I failed at luffa last year and this year, but I'm going to try again next year.
I've got tomato paste nearly done on the stove
How do you do tomato paste? Just start with tomato sauce and keep stirring and boiling off the liquid?

So I bought a yellow jacket trap . Took a couple of days for them to find it . Works great .
Oh? Can you link it?

Morning all! It's raining really good here today. First good rain we've had in... uh... since before DD was born! Sheesh, didn't realize it had been that long. Guess I need to start keeping track of that info.

DH is still busting up pallets in the evening, at least until I go outside and chase him in to rest, lol. I need to draw up coop plans, but heck, just add that to the pile of stuff that needs doing I guess. :hmm Having a hard time keeping up.

We've been adopted by kittens... There's one outside that's a bit older and kinda belongs to the landlady. Then there's the fluffy one, white and orange and adorable, that we brought in. It's been playing with DS in the morning and evening, good timing as I'm trying to get stuff done.

I managed to go for my first mile walk since I've been released to normal activity levels now. Two days later I'm still zonked. Dang it. I was hoping to just jump back in and get my groove on. Guess I'll have to fight for my prior fitness level, which I'm going to need before spring. Two seater stroller is on the way for the littles so I can get out with them more easily. Right now pushing one and wearing the other, which kills my back after a while.
