@SheaLoner , I just get the cheap Walmart "crocs". They last a couple years, and you can hose them out when your feet get muddy.Anybody know of a good brand of outdoor sandles? I absolutely destroy them every year. Haven't been able to find a pair that lasts more then 1 season for 5-6 yrs. Getting tired of the flip flop effect of a broken one.

How many frames equaled how much honey? After I finish washing up my honey equipment
I sure know what you mean! Once I come in and sit down, it's really hard to get going again.Though truth..... my motivation and energy is waning
Well CRAP...
Went out to get the mail and heard a chick in distress. Went into the chicken yard to find a 2-day old chick floundering in the water bowl. I fought off the broody so I could fish her out. Brought her inside and put her in the incubator with the duck egg I accidentally cracked this morning. Hoping she can dry off and I'll take her back to mama. She is shivering uncontrollably though.... Poor baby.
Today is not my day.
I've lost several over the past 2-3 years. Unfortunately because the goats share the same yard, I can't remove the bowls. I do have waterers placed all over the yard and most broodies with young chicks use those instead. This broody must have missed the memo.... I added some large rough texture hearth stones in as a ramp so the chick can get out. Just as a precaution in case it happens again. I'm just thankful I discovered her plight when I did. I took her back to mama since she dried out.I'm sorry! I lost a broody's chick to a water bowl once. I remove all of the dishes now and only use waterers when there are chicks.
That's how I felt about the raspberries... I just let the birds have them. I still have about 7 or 8 yellow squash in my fridge that I need to chop up and freeze, as well.I need to go pick peas- some that need shelled, and some to use for stir fry. I already have some in the fridge as well- so there should be a bit larger batch. Though truth..... my motivation and energy is waning...![]()
I've never been a fan of crocs. I prefer an open toe with a heel strap. And the hose them out convenience is something I've never missedeven with leather sandals.@SheaLoner , I just get the cheap Walmart "crocs". They last a couple years, and you can hose them out when your feet get muddy.
