What did you do in the garden today?

That pic made my day! Thanks
:D Well good! Here are the residents of that tractor, seven kits and their mama.

Dan I love your rabbit tractor! I kind of wish we could do that with some of ours.
But our dogs would shred it and have the rabbits for lunch.
Thanks! It took us a bit to perfect it, though that was mostly messing with the house. Some have tin roofs and other kemlite. I understand, it took awhile to get our dogs to behave around them but the hard work has paid off.

Our dogs kill and eat anything that comes on this farm. It does have it's good points as in the coyotes and fox, coon's that were trying to get our chickens. The only time I could let my turkey out to free range is when I sat out there with the hose in my hand.
They hate to get wet. lol So that was my weapon of choice for the dogs.
Then one Sat. morning Biscuit decided he was having turkey for breakfast! He pulled one of my hens through the gate and was having his breakfast when Dh and I went to do chores. I burned the hen and dh put razor wire around the hinges of the gates so he would never be able to do that again.
But the other dog Bea will not even listen with my dh sitting there if she decides she is going to do what she want's. I can make Biscuit listen most of the time. But she is old and stubborn. She's in her last few years so we let her get away with a bit more these days.

You know, rabbit manure was the main reason I considered raising rabbits for meat. I ended up not choosing to do so (I have my hands full). But if I do, this will be a key element. Struggling with the set up for composting the chicken manure. Would be so much easier to just put rabbit manure in directly.

Maybe I'll reconsider in a couple years. Rabbit is delicious. :D (No offense to rabbit pet-keepers meant.)
