Thank you all for the condolences. It has been a bit of a roller coaster week. I started working on cleaning the old chicken coop yesterday and got more done today. We have a little warmer temperatures today. It’s up to 40F. It’s slow going since my breathing post covid is still a bit rough so working with an N95 mask makes it harder. I canceled the daffodil order. I thought I could plant them in a couple of weeks but not a good idea in my grow zone. I can pick up some potted ones in a few weeks and plant them then plant more in the fall. The weather is looking like more day time temps above 40F so I’ll be able to get out and start garden cleaning and prep. I need to prune my peach and apple trees then give them a spray of neem oil. Spring is starting to drift into town.

I threw out more than half of my skittle candy that I got from amazon. The tissues in my mouth take damage when I eat them.

I bought a box of Reese's peanut butter cups from amazon today to make up for the loss.

It's 'stupid hot pepper sauce' day, or as DH calls it -SuRacha.
9lbs of mostly super hots, the least hot ones are jalapenos & it goes up to the hottest you can grow. Please pray for me, I just put them on the stove. I was choking just washing the cutting board.

DW had a blood draw today. In town anyway so I browsed the big box stores garden center. Bought a package of bare root Goldstrom daisy. Clear package and picked one showing life. I will not buy what I cannot see. Looked for pro mix. Lowes had Sunshine mix in bales. It has aggerate in it. Seemed sandy. I passed. Checked Menards online for pro mix. 2 stores had some and marked discontinued.
