I don't like having to "rent" the shopping carts for a quarter. Yeah, you get it back when you return the cart but still, I don't like the system.

I use a round headed key from the hardware store that is the same size as a quarter. 98 cents, and I've used it for years. I just keep it in the center compartment of the truck.

I'm with you. Twice monthly, we buy enough raw milk to last for 2 weeks from a local organic free range farm, freeze it in small bottles, and defrost them as needed. It's divine!

The pasteurized milk you buy from chain stores is full of chemicals from over medicated cows kept in horrendous over crowded conditions. It's truly sad how mass production farms treat livestock.

Mass produced milk doesn't compare in taste, quality, and nutrition value to clean raw milk from healthy happy cows.

here it is not renting. it is to make sure people will put them back. otherwise they would need to employ people just to collect and put the carts back in place.

The results of cross pollination shows up in the seed produced and the plants and fruit from them.

That’s strange bc one of these butternut, not by the gourd is normal. This vine had normal ones except this one by the gourds. how can a vine produce 2 different fruits?

We had a little over 7 inches of rain in July. Nearly double of the average for July. 90s for 3 days. Tough conditions. Humid at dewpoint then blistering heat. I replanted some squash a month ago and they are really growing. Need to mow but waiting for the dew to dry.

Are you sure it's not 2 vines all entangled?

G’morning gardeners. Going to fix it so the crew can’t lay eggs in a certain spot where I can’t get to them, don’t need the crazy broody laying on infertile eggs like a goober. Also going to improve the duck pool area with some pavers and shade expansion. Probably pull the dead plants out of the beds today too. That’s it, getting it done early.

Ha several restaurants and fast food can't get workers and have closed, limited hours or just drive through. Ever since covid.
The 2 stores I normally shop at besides Aldi have been out of little carts when I go between 9 and noon. I am able to go back out and find a cart, but some can't.
I have had vehicles dinged by runaway carts.
