What did you do in the garden today?

I am having a hard time sprouting my Marconi sweet peppers. I have been draining out the water after I water the rock wool cubes once a week and I have it on a heat mat with a seedling grow light.

I ordered some Big Jim pepper seeds from Power Grow systems; they look similar to the Marconi peppers. I will try leaving some water in the tray and cover them, so the algae don't grow like this video. Power Grow Systems has a 100% guarantee on their peppers, so at least one should grow. Lol...

Do ducks get bumble foot, and do they lay eggs in a nest box or all over the place?

ducks do get bumble foot but I never treated them, they cured on their own. some ducks lay in a nest box (muscovy) while indian runner lay all over the place. the good thing is ducks usually lay early in the morning so I keep them confined till 10 am. easy peasy.

I think using egg cartons to space and grow carrots is a good idea.

I plan to do that. just need time.

I use becool stick on patches, but yep.
And the powdered tylenol works really fast.
My mistake was NOT using my nivage after working outside in the wind and cleaning bird houses for three hours the day before. NOT using it before bed, and flat out running out of water for it.
Now I have water, and I'm down to 3 pods.
All out of stock in town, but pharmacy ordered me some to pick up Monday.
BTW the menthol ones are the devil. LOL

I agree with all of this. I absolutely have to use mine when I clean coops and such or I’m toast for at least three days it seems. And yes the menthol pods, I think they’re eucalyptus really, are horrible.

I have the massive one that does the whole forehead and eyes and nasal sinus cavity. I find it panic inducing.

I only have the one that goes across my eyes, but it’s big enough that it gets my sinuses there in the corner between eyes and nose. Also get between my eyebrows. I can’t do like a whole face type thing, I get claustrophobic.

G’morning gardeners. It looks like Mother Nature is giving us week of seasonal temps so all I’m doing today is putting down some fertilizer for the trees and shrubs. It was windy the last couple days and my allergies are dragging me down.

It's a good thing I only planted only 2 Japanese cucumber plants. I made qt jars of Japanese thin pickles, Korean Kimchee pickles, Korean shoyu based pickles, plain salted pickles and American pickles.
