We had a salad with fresh from the garden last night.

So what are you getting fresh from the garden this time of year? All I have left to eat is a few chive plants.

My mustard bring seed for itself does the kale.
Also my herbs are perennial, I have walking onion and garlic they feed themselves.

I have Swiss chard kale and carrots that survived the winter. Can make a salad with those, but boy am I ready for my first tomato of the season. Dreaming of that already even though my seedlings are only 5 inch high now.

Gave my onion seedlings their first haircut today. Seriously considering putting some beans in a pot and just seeing how they do, but haven’t actually done it yet.

On a positive note: the grow lights turn on and off at the proper times. I have them set to come on at 6 am, and go off at 10 pm. They're pre-programmed, so my choices were 8, 12, or 16 hours.

But the strawberry bed is done! Strawberries are snuggled down in their new home in preparation for light rain tomorrow and heavier rain on Tuesday.

Next up: building turntables for the strawberry barrels in the garden.

I am having a hard time sprouting my Marconi sweet peppers. I have been draining out the water after I water the rock wool cubes once a week and I have it on a heat mat with a seedling grow light.

I ordered some Big Jim pepper seeds from Power Grow systems; they look similar to the Marconi peppers. I will try leaving some water in the tray and cover them, so the algae don't grow like this video. Power Grow Systems has a 100% guarantee on their peppers, so at least one should grow. Lol...
