What did you do in the garden today?

I grow Big Jim..nice, thick walled pepper
I hope they sprout; I want to taste them. I like to add sweet bell peppers to my chicken soup, and sweet-sour sauces. I take the breast meat out early and shred them and mix it with a Chinese sweet and sour sauce. This is the best way to eat the breast meat in my opinion.

Yesterday I decided to get some seeds started so I have: fennel, holy basil, cushaw pumpkin, pumpkin, gourds, zucchini, olive and apple. I'm going to try to get some more potted today.

I moved the onions and shallots I planted in January outside to harden off and grow more before planting them in my garden. They're about ready for their second haircut.

The sage plant is growing like crazy, and I might just keep it as a potted plant. I have a couple more that I can plant permanently outside somewhere.

I put a roof over the plants to keep the rain off of them, but they still get some sunshine. When it's not cloudy.

The onions I planted last month are finally all germinating. I should have plenty of onions for my canned salsa this summer.

Peppers and brassicas still happy under the LEDs. I've been watering them regularly with a weak solution of Miracle Grow fertilizer. I won't use that chemical crap in my garden soil, but see no problem using it to feed the seedlings.
