What did you do in the garden today?

My white egg plant seeds started sprouting after I gave up on them and took them outside and took off the dome. It has been dormant for more than a month. I got 2 Georgia flame seeds to sprout which is enough for me. I don't think I can eat them if they are too hot.

You are a bunch of enablers! I am considering some ducklings. Not many and just long enough to harvest. I like duck.

The only perk is the temperature. That wet heavy snow and wind will definitely make the power go out.

It figures though. You give up on a seed sprouting and oh mercy be cool because they will knock your socks off. I have had that happen more than enough times.

Thunderstorms here today and tomorrow. Here is a bit of a gripe. I notice lots of choices anymore but a shortage of original. I cannot do spicey hot. Original is always sold out. Kroger is bad at not restocking until the hot stuff sells. I like pork rinds for a low carb snack as I am diabetic. Local IGA nothing but hot. Kroger is hit or miss. My favorite French onion dip is often sold out but plenty of hot. This often makes me have to go further to a Walmart which I do not do often.

I walked the garden last evening while the crew was eating. It has been windy for a couple of days and a few new shrooms sprouted in with the corn, they were dry like they’d been in a food dehydrator. Soil is dry as well despite the mulch on everything. Today will be watering, also need to put down fertilizer for the shrubs and trees, it has been far too windy to get that done.
