I bought some miniature white and red potatoes from Walmart the other day and notice that some of the red potatoes were chitin, so I saved 8 of them and boiled the rest.
I will try growing them in Bato buckets with perlite mixed with coarse vermiculite which is similar to what this lady did in her video. However, the main difference between my Bato bucket and her container is it's 3 times smaller and the depth of the Bato bucket is only 8 inches. This is significant because water can only wick up to 7 inches.
