What did you do in the garden today?

A cold rain yesterday morning. DW was mad at me yesterday and she was already mad at the president. Credit card bill came, and she saw what I spent on garden stuff. I did not hide it she misunderstood when I told her about it. She thought it was for home repairs. A bad habit of hers is to fill in with what she thinks I said.

tomato plants are in their individual cells with the fan blowing on them under grow lights in the seeding shed
peas are planted and watered
potatoes have been watered
Plum tree has flowers on half the tree
pear trees are getting leaves
apricot tree in the garden is leafing and I see flower buds
I watered the herb garden and am eyeballing the bay leaf shrub - watching for life.
Scraping pollen and prairie dust off everything all the time. April showers are missing.

Wow! Your bay laurel tree survives your winters outside?! I've been hauling mine in every winter! Or is your bay leaf shrub a whole different thing?

Well it's supposed to be outside. I had it well insulated. Crossing fingers.
I had it trimmed back and under one of those foam rose covers and mulch for this spring mounded over that.

My Yard works from 2013 was USA- although it is a rake. And I didn't take up the replacement as the handle didn't BREAK as much as I broke it running over it with the tractor. Sigh. No idea where they're made now.
I was nailing new shingles onto the roof of my house years ago and slammed my thumb or finger, probably for a second time in a row. I got mad and threw my hammer 50 feet into a wooden fence. The handle broke.

It was a Craftsman and the Sear's store replaced it no-questions-asked, even though I really didn't deserve the new hammer. Still have the replacement.
