My alpha roo has taken out some smaller snakes. The girls freaking love to, well, eat them. I'll spare the details.Thankfully none and nothing but garter snakes out here run
from you chickens eat them
Good morning gardeners and Happy Mother's Day to all. Yesterday I managed to get the back yard mowed. It was really tough going. Although the grass was dry, the soil underneath was spongy from all the rain. I finished filling one of the herb garden beds with dirt, one more to go. I'm not sure if I can work on that today, it's raining of course. I won't be putting anything in the ground until Wednesday. It's 45F right now and the temps are going down to the 30's later today. So right now I am surrounded by plants waiting to go outside.
