What did you do in the garden today?

My squash has powdery mildew.

I successfully treated my rosemary for it one year with milk, I'll have to try it on the squash. If not I'll use the copper fungicide. It definitely stopped the blight on the tomatoes even though it rained the same day! I just hate using stuff if I dont have to.
Did you check the article on powdery mildew from the Old Farmers Almanac? Apparently there are different types.

Good morning gardeners. My rooster let me sleep in an extra 15 minutes this morning. Nice! Last night around 3 am heard animal noises sounding like upset chickens and something else. Fortunately the sound was farther away than my chicken coop so I tried to ignore it. Woke up to 55F. OMG! what a treat. I actually turned the ceiling fan off in my bedroom. Not much happening in the garden except growing. No buds on the pole beans yet but the vines are looking spectacular. I have 5 cucumber plants that are loaded with tiny cukes right now. I need to pick some more jalapenos today. I ordered a dehydrating "cookbook" so I can start using my dehydrator. I can't use the green onions fast enough so I thought I would just dehydrate them for later use. I'm planning on drying my herbs as well. If any of you haven't tried or looked the Old Farmers Almanac website I highly recommend it. And no I'm not getting a kick back from them. I've been using their site for years and have found it to be invaluable. You can sign up for their free newsletter by email and you get great tips on gardening practices. They even send you helpful alerts of when to plant certain things. Have a great day everyone.
