What did you do in the garden today?

I went to the store today to do the usual shopping. 3 stores, no TP or rice. Was going to get some TP for a coworker who said there is none in her neck of the woods. Guess she is still out of luck. :(
Almost didn't think I was going to find any dog food for our dog, but I found 2 medium sized bags at the grocery store.
We will be watching one of the grandsons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next ..... who knows how long. :idunno Whenever school starts up again.
I was going to plant the trees today that came from Stark Brothers but decided I would wait until he was here so he could help. He's 5.
I have 12 eggs in the incubator. There are really good veins in 4 of them, 1 I think is a clear, another I think may be an early quitter and the rest I think are doing okay, but couldn't see as clearly into them. They are due to hatch on the 27th/28th. But it could be a day or so later because the temps started off a little bit low.
Stay healthy everyone!

Oh that'll be fun! Let 'em dig holes.

repair guy came today. I can get in and out with the help of the rope. He blew the capacitor in the opener and was missing one part to repair it, so he'll be back tomorrow or wednesday to finish. He said one of the steel cables freyed and then the whole thing had a cascade failure.
Of course it did.

Rainy rainy rainy and wet from melted snow here this week.

I will be a great week to start tree holes for all my new trees in between the rain showers.

Was going to sew today, but didn't get around to it.
I did lots of laundry. All of DHs equipment arrived today to teach remotely from the university. State Education department said it has waved the hour requirements for the school year. Currently they are out for two weeks. I bet they go longer.

Wild isn't it? At least we have communication, for good or bad. Better than 100 years ago.

Aloha gang!
Little monster chick still keeping me hopping- no kidding. It has to be the neediest chick I have ever met. Must be a roo. It got to eat its first bug today, think it tickled on the way down cuz it was a goofball reaction.

You and I are in the same boat! I got 7 in the house who are driving me cuckoo. And its not just the maran...but 'I' think he's a little gent too!

We also had some DF tourist couple who were in contact with a known C19 carrier fly to Maui, develop a fever and then flew over to Kauai... with several visits to God knows where. Now they are holed up in some motel room on our dime. I think they should have criminal charges brought to them. Stupid sh*t for brains butt heads. Our islands are small, compact populations...

Again, you and I are in the same boat Tropical! I live in a small town and our economy relies on tourists. That said, this virus hasn't stopped them from coming up AND buying out our supplies while mooching on our food. sh*t for brains is indeed spot-on! What in the sam hill are these dbs thinking?? Most of us are ready for the sheriff to block the entrance to the 78 and 79 because what happens when we get snow tomorrow? We'll get a bunch of idiots who think its all fun and games to come up here...
