What did you do in the garden today?

Howdy works! :frow Actually, aloha is a hello and goodbye greeting, mahalo is thank you ;)
Yes our plumeria are blooming up a storm. The air smells divine. I personally have planted 13 plumeria trees in our yard lol and I have about 5 in pots and I just picked up another color from the green waste last eve.
Do you folks grow them in Texas? You now what they are... :D :D :D Hey, how is your aloe fence/barricade going? You reminded me how much I hate trying to grow things in the summer. Things will just scorch in a day sometimes, that is why I plant all the trees, lordy it gets hot. The grass can get so hot it will burn my feet... ugh! So far my garden has not stressed as much as it could but I have more shade surrounding it with the shade cloth over the run and little coop relocation last fall.

We did and can grow Plumeria containerized. Here in citruslandia though the ones we had in the ground die off with our once every 10 year bad winters so they will never be mainland trees for us. The scent is divine I agree. I still do love it more scentwise when the citrus are in bloom for effect. Same thing with the pineapples I kept trying them in the ground and they almost always fail or rabbits eat them. Aloe barrier is struggling but is native and should make it so this memorial day shouldn't concern them:fl They need another season with a bit more rain to truly make it. Regardless I have tons of additional aloe for the parts that fail. Same for prickly pears.
