It's a good thing he's a great patient, it only took about 5 minutes to change the dressing. After I put him on the roost I watered the xeriscape garden and soaked the raised bed I'm working on. There are ants in the raised bed so we'll need some more ant baits; I'm not so sure I want to spray permethrin and then grow food in there. I'll have to do some research on that. I've started drawing out my plans for the fall and winter garden. I need to check on time to harvest for a few things I've never grown before and possibly start a few things in the shade garden and transplant but I hope to direct sow as much as possible. I can't remember who asked about the Ruth Stout method here but I've implemented much of her style here and I'm seeing good results. The biggest difference is that she plopped hay on the grass and planted, I have crummy soil. However, I've seen much improvement in the areas I've mulched with the hay. K, gotta get busy, almost time fir work. Have a great day everyone!Try spraying again and hopefully that will work. Perhaps @adirondak5 could chime in with some advice.

I gave Olive fresh bedding and another foot soak. Penned up the others early to do that ,so I went to feed chickens a bit and found a pigmy rattler by the food can! Husband shot it.
