Lunchbox Sweet peppers and some mild Jalapenos in todays haul.

We've got a very productive Tabasco Pepper plant that is exploding with hot Tabasco's! See below...

Last year my Habanero's were crazy good! We put up Peach/Habanero/Bourbon Jelly until we couldn't due to the fumes and I ended up going to market with at least a bushel of Habaneros. Gave them away to vendors...Still have a few freezer bags full of Hab's and scared to touch them!

I didn't do a lot in the garden, but I did make salsa. Broiled some tomatoes, onions, garlic, and peppers. Blended with more fresh tomatoes and soap ( aka cilantro) plus salt and pepper. It is so nice not buying

tomatoes this summer!

Keep your tomato plants cut back and make sure that you are growing fruit and not leaves! Prune the shooters and keep the leaves/shoots cut back at the bottom of the plant.

Also, add some Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salts) to your tomato plants. healthy stalks and sweet fruit results!

I only grow them once every 3 to 5 years. They go in freezer in a ziplock bag and they keep just fine that way. Carolina Reapers are even worse!

Good morning gardeners. It's about 0430 and I've already watered the grass and oleanders. Woke up around 0200 with a headache and I felt better being up than laying down. The wind is blowing, there are a few clouds in the sky and it's warm out there, probably about 90. The pups had a good run too. Going to the park with them soon, then chores inside today. Have a good day!

Rainy today. Dropped off 25 chicks, 4 hens and 1 rooster at the auction. Hopefully they sell well.

Tomatoes are coming quickly now- many are ripe or getting there!

Picked some of the dried beans that were ready. Need to get them shelled today.

Those beans look awesome. I woke up to dreams of french fries from a hole in the wall place around here. HAGD! I for sure will be getting whatever their special is later today with fries. Gimme a fish licked sammie please, oh and these fries are red and seasoned. I should probably take a photo.
