What did you do in the garden today?

Happy New Year all! Those pies were making me drool.

I've decided I won't be ordering any seeds, I have all of what I need. I'll just get onions when they show up around here. I saved tons of green bean, cherry pepper & carolina reaper seeds & have everything else from last year.

I realized today that my littles are no longer little. The Cuckoo Marans is bigger than my old lady hens! They are like 18-20 weeks old now. It's funny how they act like little kids till they start laying - they run around jousting with each other & it cracks me up.

Have a great weekend everyone!

well, I am not as industrious as some of you guys. Did get the doilies washed and most didn't need ironing- thank God. Have started an organized removal of decorations around the house and putting like with like so I can pack them away. Just lack the garlands, big nativity and the mantle village with suburb. Tomorrow I can get out the boxes and start boxing things up. Another Christmas under my belt.
I have a friend who at one time was so in to christmas decorations, she had a storage locker and used a trailer to get them all transported. Her village alone took up an entire room. She had 3 ft wide tables built to go along 3 walls with smaller tables in the center. Everything was loaded with village scenes.
Whenever I think I have a lot of decorations, I just think about her. It took the better part of 2 weeks to get that stuff up and get it down. So I guess I don't have it so bad. LOL.

I spent the day doing ungodly amounts of research on building my own greenhouse using row cover fabric versus a greenhouse kit, researching reseeding my horse pasture, and spent WAY too much money on horse friendly wildflowers and herb seeds.... All of which I'm hoping to use for my chickens and goats too....

Fell down a rabbit hole eh?
I might just do a shed frame with plastic/glass walls.
