Morning all
I let the irrigation lines water the garden yesterday while I weeded, fed and mulched. I came in SOAKED with sweat and I know the garden had too much water, but what wasn't taken in flowed off and into the 'lawn'. No harm no foul.
When I came in and showered I caught my bad thumb in a piece of wet clothing getting it off, YUP, twisted it all to heck again. Spent the whole day getting things done on the brink of tears. I swear. I hope to hay the fields next week or the week after, so it has to hold on til after that. Ranching is not for the faint of body. Phew.
Heading to, and over 100 HUMID degrees today and tomorrow. I'm glad I chose not to hay. hindsight is 20/20, because while it IS hot, it's not windy, and you really need some wind, especially in this humidity.
Next week is looking like too many rain chances, so we'll see.
Haymakers best friends, Tylenol and Xanax.
Need to tie up the tomatoes in the chicken garden and the birds need let out today. I sprayed for weeds yesterday, so they were stuck inside. BOY were they MAD.
Stay mucky all
