What did you do in the garden today?

Amazon did the royal FU. We have been Prime members years, like 10. Went to buy a sorresto collar for Pugsly our little ish dog 15 lbs said cannot be shipped here ?
Says cannot ship to our address ? NC company.

We really like the bravecto tablets you give every 3 months. Now they also have a topical that is cheaper that the bargain spay/neuter vet's office here will apply. Works great for our country dogs. If you want seresto, I just found a tractor supply sale is on through today: "Shop for seresto At Tractor Supply Co." https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/b...K_Heuu6QpDiOOWOp7vna9E-358LWw96YaAuEFEALw_wcB

I visited the garden on my rounds of collecting Japanese Beetles. I really need to hoe up the weeds, but it'll have to wait for Tuesday. Tomorrow I am taking someone to her chemo appointment. I don't know how long it will take, but I haven't planned anything else for the day.

I have no idea how Amazon picks and chooses what to send back and what not to send back. I think it sits on the original seller through amazon.

My latest peeve is things listed as Prime, but take a week from when I order them to get here. But the delivery date isn't shown until after you buy it. They shouldn't be allowed to use the Prime stamp label on their item if they pull that crap.

We can't get ANY of the other Prime benefits that city Prime people get, to include the video services, as the downloads are SLOW and sketchy way out here. All I ask for is the two day shipping I'm paying for and have since Prime was introduced.

Spent the morning in the sewing room working on a quilt top for DS.
We managed another half an inch of rain last night, so the garden and orchard should be good.
I'll go walk the garden here in a minute.
Nice out. 80, but a little on the humid side, but with a decent breeze.
Hens are out running amok.
Beagle is giving the robot vacuum a death stare from her robot safe bed.

No idea what's for supper tonight. I just had lunch, so nothing sounds good.
I have some items on the canning shelf that are past their use by, so I should take care of those. Bleh. How did I let that happen?!

I ordered a muck bucket cart from them this spring. They shipped it with no box and it was pretty beat up by the time it arrived. It was also missing pieces. They wanted me to ship it back for the return. Even though they sent me a label to do it, it was going to be such a PITA that I just ate the cost of the entire thing. The box was destroyed so I'd have to find a new box big enough to contain everything... Anyway, maybe I will go by Lowe's and see if I can find parts that might work in lieu of what is missing. Just found the whole process completely annoying

You can go to a UPS store to do Amazon returns. Just show them QR code that gets sent to you for the return. They enter it and the system tells them to put it in massive box with gajillion returns or it gets its own box.

Cool and wet here...
I did get a new pkanter today. It's a bulldog statue with a shallow paver in its back. I'm wondering what to plant in it. It is very shallow though, like 3 inches. I'm thinking I might try succulents. I have no experience with them though.

ETA Here is a pic of the planter. I can keep it indoors or or it outside. Any recommendations for plants are welcome.

I think the 2 day Prime shipping is a thing of the past. I live in the country, so it never worked for me anyway. But I used to get Prime 2 day packages in 3-4 days and now they only guarantee 7-10 days Prime shipping. And yes, the 2 day Prime shipping was the biggest draw for me to Amazon Prime. Blame everything on Covid-19, but next year I may not renew my Prime membership.

No box? That is just wrong!

Never did expect 2 day our here too far out .. I alos buy most my clothes and BF's .. Would be fool hardy to dump it. I have started to use it for baking staples that I want larger packages than available.
