What did you do in the garden today?

I just want to say this iPad drives me insane, the keyboard stinks & messes up everything all the time. I’m a really good typer & speller but this iPad make me look dumb. I’m sick of going back to edit. . Or I have to reboot the dumb thing.

Heres my lettuce. The buttercrunch came up & did well, the other 4 I just re-did. I didnt presoak the cones or the seeds, I’m sure thats why nothing came up. Im a slacker.

Well, I'll give them a try!

The tomatoes were medium size, not the jumbo 1lbs plus size advertised for the Super Sauce hybrid.

I had to add a green shade for my French lettuce, the sun is too strong.........I have 3 more lettuce that I will take outside, so I will end up with 8. The leaves on these are tender and make good wraps.

I am going to start a little more to keep the rotation proactive.

I got tired of eating my red Cherokee lettuce, 12 was to much for me. I will seed 3 and feed the leaves to my fish. This type of lettuce is very strong, it doesn't have a problem with direct sunlight. It is well suited for my growing zone 11.

I have 8 new red Cherokee romaine lettuce ready to take outside. I can fit 12 in my cement tub, so it should fit.

Mine are starting to get tall but I don't know when I take them out of their starter pots and into something bigger

I think I transferred mine too soon. Oh well, I'll plant more seeds tomorrow

I need to dig horseradish. Maybe tomorrow after shots I'll get the birds out and pull some leaves and dig a couple roots. I opened a new jar of storebought HR tonight and about as bland as oatmeal. Pffft.
