Weather calmed down-yay!! But it is very windy now.

First goat seems to be in early labor. Restless, talking, up/down now and then. We watched for quite awhile , but no change, and no change in the back end. Plus, she settled down and stayed settled down after awhile. Now we monitor the baby monitor inside.

I transplanted a tomato seedling into my garden bed and put some seeds in baggies with wet paper towels to get them to germinate. Pulled up some weeds and threw them into the chicken run for my ladies to enjoy.

Today I took my boy to the zoo.

Got my elbows from home desperate, went hunting for a six pack of jalapenos for DH since I only started two, and he wants more. DS saw some flowers so we got a bunch and planted them in the berry pots and cherry tree pot.

Caught my dog up in one of my potted trees eating the dirt (I put granulated organic fruit tree fertilizer in it 4 weeks ago so it's starting to smell like horse manure).... Stupid little... You think he would have learned his lesson after eating 4oz of the fertilizer which made him poop and vomit for a whole night. Never had to give a dog an acid reducer until then.

Tomorrow is a work day. Won't get much done in the yard.

my garden is done. everything is bolting with these almost summer temperatures we had for a few days. my brussel sprouts are pea size with flowers bouquet size. this was my second attempt to grow brussel sprouts. I guess I should plant them late august.

I have several gallons of blackstrap molasses for the horses, making flock blocks, etc...

Since I don't have the horses anymore and only make flock blocks in winter, you are giving me ideas...

We used to give ewes molasses in warm water after lambing to get their strength up

Snow is actually building up a bit here... there's a thin blanket across everything right now. Hoping it stops and melts away. I'm not wanting snow in April.
