Hey all. Back from vacation. Can't believe how much everything grew while I was gone!

I'm losing some strawberries for some reason, not sure why. Thinking of having the soil tested. A squirrel tore up my entire garden, I have to go reseed a lot of things. It actually moved the wire I had coving things or just dug right dug underneath it. I've never seen them get this crazy in there. Can't wait for the new fence next year.

Question for those who vacuum pack their food... Where do you buy your oxygen absorbers? Amazon is cheap but not sure if I trust them... Would like to hear others' experience and feedback

I got some on Amazon they work fine but I'm thinking of getting some from the Lehman's site.

How old is your phone? I know some phone manufacturers try “creative” ways to trick you into upgrading your phone. You likely already know this but I download the photos on my phone by way of a usb connection to my laptop. That works well for me if I’m doing a lot of photos at a time. Also phones can get wonky when you’ve reached your storage limit. Just a thought.

Recently replaced phone. My photo problem is with my camera card into my laptop. I will have to take laptop fix my gadget. Phone to computer I am too dumb for that.

there's two different ODs for 1/2" there's the 0.634 and 0.700. make sure everything you have works for that .634 you got. The hose bib connectors and fittings I mean.

Thanks @Minanora , I checked and the garden hose X 1/2" adapters I ordered are sized correctly to the 1/2" tubing.

Do you have room for vining squash? Tromboncino is a vining C. Moschetta group used as summer squash. You could also try a Parthenocarpic variety that can set seedless fruit. Caged with screen wire to keep bugs out. That is if squash Boers are your problem.

Oh I had all the bugs, borers those that look like stink bugs and when I did have fruit, it would rot! It was a combination of problems from bugs to soil problems. Over the last 3 years I’ve killed more bugs than the Orcan man it felt like! Pulling up some so infested and just burning them!
I must have put enough dent in their numbers to make it this year! In addition to chicken poo

I'm growing tromboncino for the first time this year.

Just reseeded everything. Now to keep the stupid squirrels out.

I'm a bit disappointed that none of my sweet success cukes came up. A whole packet worth, & that wasn't squirrels, they just failed. So I reseeded with soyo long because that's what I had.

It finally rained, of course after I hung up my 2 last loads of laundry before I go into the hospital great that we finally had some rain, not so great the stuff I wanted to take with me is WET most of it isn’t dryer safe … but that’s Murphy

I'm growing tromboncino for the first time this year.

I grew that last year, never even got one fruit. I was very disappointed.

Along with zucchini and the usual yellow straightneck squash I'm trying a different variety this year, Zapallito del Tronco.
