What did you do in the garden today?

I dug up my sweet potato in my grow bag, and I only had 3 medium size ones to eat, the rest were small, so I moved them to a 15-gallon container filled with pro mix and I used the recommended amount of Garden Tone fertilizer. I feel good about this as the last time I didn't prep the pro mix with organic fertilizer and miss feeding fish fertilizer like I suppose too. Anyway, I could fit 12 small potatoes in my container, and they should get bigger in 3 moths, so I am looking forward to big potatoes in March.

I wonder if those small potatoes will multiply. I started some slips to see which one does better small potatoes or slips?

It's been a while. Our 1968 house phone has a ringer switch, so it stays in the off position. If that phone ever gets called the call goes to my email. (I rewired the phone to work with modern phone hardwiring)
and my childhood house phone before that had a switch that cut off the incoming call between the wall and the phone so it wouldn't ring.
THAT phone never got switched off as Dad was on call even at home, and even though he carried a pager, a brick in a bag, and had a hardwired auto phone in his car. LOL
I swear, I was the only kid growing up in the early 70s that was always reachable.

1950s house, rotary phone in kitchen and basement until the 90s 😂

I picked a bunch of Rattlesnake green beans and Cherokee wax beans, a few tomatoes, three eggplants, some broccoli shoots, and jalapenos. Pretty happy with today's harvest!

I was plucking my green chillies which arrived 3 days back but today they turn all red and i was like it’s too fast they mature too fast they become really spicy 🥵

How are all the southern snow folks managing? I hear it's gonna get REAL cold for you in a couple days.

We got a teeny dusting. Just enough that I need to put the cleats on to go outside. 🙄
Our 10 day forecast below. I'm REALLY hoping that this foot of snow melts by tomorrow afternoon. It was fun yesterday. Today it's just an annoyance. Chickens still refusing to come out of their coops... Even though I have different feeding stations, the bullies hog everything so I have many hungry chickens. I won't even get into the mud hole the ducks have created in their water trough. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to lug water by buckets because I can't use the hose right now.
