I planted an herb garden around my coop for my chickens. I have a black thumb so not sure how this will go

I have just put dutch bantams and a pair of guinea fowl in a coop with attached run. I plan to make planters around their run and have not decided what to plant. I need something taller on the south side for shade. loofa or pole beans might be a good choice.

What seed supplier do you use?

The pepper seeds are from a few suppliers and most are new this year. I’ve gotten sprouts, but only a couple that popped out of the soil, many that stayed bent over, then died.

Black thumb here…didn’t even realize sweet potato’s had leaves My girls really love mint lavender and rosemary so this was a cheaper alternative!

Another rainy day and a wind advisory. Stuck inside. Took a couple of photos and computer will not import again. I get a black screen when I try. Tutorials are no help. I hate windows.

Getting old sucks, yesterday, I helped a neighbor dig up some seedlings of ours and cut some bushes, today, my shoulders were yelling at me, don’t do stuff like that again I was expecting trouble like that in my 70, but mid fifties

I pulled a muscle a couple of days ago and all I was doing was bending over to put something in my daughter's dishwasher. I'm 62, will be 63 on the 14 of this month. My back is still sore and I'm having to be extra careful with it.
