Well, IMHO, you are not that at all. Seems calling the pound and her bailing out her dog solved the problem, where calling her did not. Hopefully she had to also pay your neighbor the full replacement cost for his killed birds. In our county, we can kill any animal that kills our livestock, chickens, domestic rabbits, etc. She better be glad her dog didn't get shot.
. I have an automatic espresso machine, DH likes drip brew, and the occasional mocha. It's cheaper than going to the local stand to buy one every morning. @TropicalBabies , have you tried iced coffee? That was my drink in hot Texas. Anyhow, one 15 wk. old cockerel named Earl started up his crowing on Friday. They sound like a muffled trumpet at first. Don't think the other guy is trying yet, same age, different mama. Got my hog rings and pliers to join the fence panels together, as DH used 36" x 2 tall for the enclosure. He did get one gate made, one more to go. Had our first frost.

Wish my yokos layed as well as the OD's do. They're the best layers of all my current birds. We eat a lot of banty eggs these days. We can shoot them here legally as well. I've never been good with a gun though.

normally my first cup is "hot", my second is more warm and the third... when and if I get to it is room temp and then cooled by my soy milk. K. Don't laugh.... but we don't own ice. We bought one of those pretty Samsung refrigerators and it does not do well with our humidity and I am tired of defrosting it to have ice for 3 days (then DH doesn't shut the door proper...)
I’m not laughing at you! Laughing at the fact that we also have a fancy Samsung and even though it does just fine here…my husband has to hook up the waterline. And that isn’t happening anytime soon because it will have to require him to go into the crawl space(the only part of the house that is crawl space, the rest is basement. Even though we had it at the last house hooked up, we hardly even used it.I do like ice coffee!
