No, no babies yet. Maybe a baby was on her bladder making her pee funny… went out today and her utter is so much more full. I can tell the babies have dropped. I think she is just taking her time. I’m ok with that really. I see her have contractions every once in a while. I just don’t know if they are like humans and have Braxton hicks. It almost seems like that is what it is.Awe...how is she now? Any babies!?
My other daughter just had hers in a whirlwind of less than 24 hours and ALL naturale!!! I told my other daughter that just had her girl 3 weeks ago that we'll never hear the end of it - she had hers all natural! Lolol
Both mom n baby girl r doing well and waiting on the blood test to come.back on baby cuz daughter did have the GBS and wasn't at hospital in time for them to get the antibiotics in her before baby was born.
So please pray she is negative and no ill effects!
I just got home from seeing her and she already looks totally different from her 1:15pm pic lol!
OMGeeze kurby!!! It looks absolutely stunning!!! I'm so glad it went so well! And you shared the pics so I'll know what to expect if I do a booth next year since they asked me this year but got human babies lol!Expo day! It’s a happening place today!![]()
Oh you did amazing! HWC is a nightmare to work with! You got it stretched in there so nicely too!!!Closed in the space between the coop and the shop wall today with rabbit hutch floor welded wire, 1/2 x 1. I still need to install the hardware cloth above the coop, maybe today. Maybe not. haha
Other pic shows how I closed in the gap at the bottom of the coop. Getting closer finishing the run. My chicks are getting bigger and pooping bigger and they need more space. They're handling being confined to the 4x8 coop just fine, since confinement is all they've known. They're not going to know what to do when they have an extra 100 square feet to run around in. LOL
Edited to add: I had the energy to finish closing in the space above the coop with hardware cloth. And I didn't rip my hands up cutting the HWC. A little trimming out tomorrow and that side of the run will be secure. The big, front wall is next. Should be easy, just time consuming.
Oh I LUV the colors! Since I'm a bantam woman ya have to tell me what these are - I'll take a stab but don't yall dare laugh...Wyandotte?Hello! I hope everyone is doing well, flocks thriving and all! Just wanted to show off my show off's, lol. Such pretty chickens to me

Awe I'm sorry bout the incubator...those problems are rough!I have gotten 8 more chicks outside to transition with the flock. The first 6 are doing great out there. I really would have loved to do all the ones left in the brooder but that is too many to do at once. I am using a pet carrier to introduce and it will only hold so many little ones. I would love to use the dog kennel I have in the coop but I have the broody babies and mommas in there.
I ended up hatching only 2 ducklings and 2 turkeys. The humidity would not stay up, no matter what I did. A lot of the babies became shrink wrapped and didn’t make it. I didn’t check this with them because I knew I was having a hard time keeping the humidity up and didn’t want to open it.I wish I had hatched more turkeys but I do have 3 more coming in June. The ducklings I’m so sad about too but I do have 15 that are doing great and then one of my daughters teachers is hatching 5 (as of last I checked that was the number left). And then I have a duck hen setting on 9 eggs. And I checked a few days ago and all 9 are doing fantastic.
We went and got a shed to use for a coop, so I will be able to separate some of my specialty chicken breeds. I have to really clean it though cause the people we got it from used it for their chickens. But to just have to put fencing around the area it’s in won’t take long.
What a great picture!! You look fantastic, I love your hatThank you! Heeded your advice, and it went very well, and I had a lot of great help. My legs and knees are the most tired. View attachment 3495726Here's my sweet elderly friend and I.

@PopoMyers what an awesome pic! Yall are so cute!
Came home from hospital to play catch up where the rain is already toying with us...99% chance and maybe 3 drops of a sprinkle....spent nearly 2 hours watering, got in the run to find a fairy egg OR lil Dolly's first egg? Could be either...so time will tell! She's my last little girl to lay and teeny tiny lil Buff Silkie that no matter how much I pluck feathers around her eyes she can't see squat lol!
Also found miss Lila in the nestbox on 6 eggs she wanted to moma! So took em and explained to her - not just yet! Oh but soon very soon I hope!
Daisy is finally no longer broody! With everything going on I wasn't able to handle it as well so she was broody full two weeks I think. Not ideal but over thankfully!
Yall have an awesome day! Gonna try to get the rest of purchased flowers planted and seed some stuff here and there!
I didn’t even mention my other issue. I’m 100% positive it caused the crossed beak.. I had one chick that did hatch that I thought didn’t have cross beak and I noticed when moving them to the bigger brooder does. I didn’t pick them up much to check on them because I thought they were doing great. All growing and already feathering. And none had any indication of cross beak when I moved them from the incubator. But only one developed cross break after hatch. Developing great so far so I’m not gonna cull it. If I notice any problems that it might be causing it pain or I notice that it isn’t thriving I may put it out of its misery. I’m just not sure how to deal with this yet. I have made the food mushy though it has been eating great without doing that. I’m just so mad right now with myself and the stupid incubator.Awe I'm sorry bout the incubator...those problems are rough!
What cuties though@ i cannot get ducks, I cannot get ducks!!!
