No, it's a Welsummer. Thank you much though. They are so curious about everything too!

Well, everyone is out in the coop....and tomorrow Im getting 4 more chicks, 2 black australorps, 2 blue australorps. That means, by the end of the day, I will have 15 chickens!

12 more coming in Mid june and 4 more in late June!

Grand total of 21 chickens by July!

Today my little feather babies went for their first "un-caged" outside adventure. They're still very small at only a week and two days so I stayed outside with them to watch over them. But boy did they have a blast, they tested out their wings and a few actually got pretty good lift! A few rolled around in the dirt, they found bugs and when I sat down they came and crawled all over me, as well as started inspecting my clothing and trying to remove my leg freckles! D: Oh and two started fighting, I guess they're trying to establish the pecking order.

Today I gave the girls a misting with the water hose & I cleaned their coop. Fun fun!

How do you bathe a chicken? Seriously, mine are filthy

I've been calling them Pig Pen 1 and 2

I just fill a small tub with water and then soak the chicken.
