It would be cooler if the footing was better for the horses (not as deep) and if the heavy sleds could be on some kind of track like a tank so it didn't bog down.It was mostly a joke. It's my favorite type of horse racing (I don't ride myself). It's a japanese draft horse race where they have extremely heavy weighted sleds they drag over hills. It's slow but the horses involved are crazy strong.
Wow, I'd never heard of that before now. Those horses are super strong, and it looks like it could be a cool sport, but I don't like how #6 was whipping the crap out his horse that was already trying as hard as he could, or the other horse that got whipped for losing momentum on the hill and getting bogged down in the deep sand.

He's BEAUTIFULI'm a dressage gal. Hopefully, someday my boy and I will compete (he's just a yearling now)! I also love trail riding--being in nature is where it's at for me! I have a 5 year old I meant to start under saddle this year, but with Covid craziness I have shelved that for next year when things will (hopefully) be better. This is okay because I'm really bonding with him and that's important for me before I get in the saddle.

For a while I didn’t know what I was! Hacking, trail rides, jumping, X country. Then I tried dressage and it was the most painful but it was also the only one I felt like I had complete control in. It almost killed my arms fighting my horse to drop his head onto the bit but now I can shift them and he drops his head. One day it just clicked. Now we are learning to do shoulder inns after the 8 treacherous months it took to reach him how to be on the bit and me how to get him on the bit. Now everything has fallen into place.I'm a dressage gal. Hopefully, someday my boy and I will compete (he's just a yearling now)! I also love trail riding--being in nature is where it's at for me!
