What do folks do besides take care of chickens I mean!

HA HA!!! I know what you mean....I get a taste of retirement every summer that I dont fill it up with workshops and classes... Im a teacher. This summer was my busiest and most fun and rewarding. I spent it building and improving on my pen and coop for my babies and just spending time with them in general. I chopped wood, tended the yard and garden, refinished the porch, washed windows and blinds, and anything else that got me outside to spend time with my chickens.

I retired from the oil industry and now I work full time as a spousal aggravationist and I am also a practicing curmudgeon.

I have done many things, including being a barista for 8+ years (that's where my screen name comes from).

Now I am a stay at home mama
I have a design and sewing biz making crafty things that I sell online and at shows
I'm in to photography, though never seem to have time for it
I go to school part time, and should graduate next Spring with a BS in Natural Resources Management

Yowza! Lotsa talent and lotsa heart out there! I especially admire those of you who are selfless and courageous enough to work with people who are suffering.

I'm a history professor, a PhD candidate, an ex-archaeological technician, and a rabid gardener.

I am a substitute teacher in the middle school. CRAZY! I am hoping to get a job helping a blind, autistic girl with daily living. I am visually impaired and unable to drive. This limits where I can work in our area. But my dream is to work with disabled children.

I bake biscotti from my grandma's recipe for a living for near 3 years... I occasionally paint and was making decent money from shows I did in NC. Now its just for fun.
