hee heee!! Funky Chickens!!

ROFL, I can't travel too far!!

Yeah, I end up doing more private couples showings than anything. But I do have quite a few parties.

spouses generally don't complain about the money spent at these parties, rofl.

And I just realised...i can use that income to fund my chicken addiction...at least in part!!

Well let me say that working with Alzhiemer patients takes a special person! When I worked in a doctor's office I had to leave out of the room for a few minutes. this man was so ugly to his daughter. i know he did not know what he was saying. but i thought then it takes a special person to work and care for our elderly that are stricken with such a awful thing. :aww (i left the room because i was starting to cry, his daughter never got upset with him either)

I work part time now cleaning houses, used to be full time but when the economy stinks im the first luxury on a clients list to go. I live in the suburbs of northern MN across the street from a lake. I have been with my hubby (altho not legally married) since i was 15 years old i am 33 now. We have no children just lots of critters. 2 dogs a blue heeler and a old grumpy lhasa apso, 2 cats boot and sasha, 3 fish tanks,15 chickens soon to be 32 if all these eggs hatch under the broody hens. I am the do it yourself queen. My hubby works full time for the city of mpls at the water works plant. I mow the lawn, clean, cook, get martha stewart crafty once in awhile. I really enjoy all the time i get to spend at home but to be honest i NEVER get much done because this site is sooooo addicting. I am currently going back to school for nursing assistant/ home health care aide and also take care of my ill grandmother. I am a proud auntie of a 4 yr old who i call my lil eggroll (hes half thai) just the cutest lil booger ever! I have 3 sisters all younger then me and 1 step brother. The neighbors call me the crazy chicken lady

Very diverse group we have here! It's so cool how we all are from different walks of life but have at least ONE thing in common!

Outside of chickens, I work at my husband's plumbing & heating company. I am supposed to be preparing to take my test to become a licensed plumber.

But these days I spend most of my time working in the office.

Hubby and I are also trying to start up a farm/orchard. In addition to chickens, we also have a few beef cattle and about 75 fruit trees. Currently hubby is restoring a falling-down shed down by the road on our property, to be converted into a farm stand.

As a kid I always loved writing and thought I would have a book published by now. No such luck (or rather, not enough effort).

I love figure skating and snowboarding but haven't had time for those hobbies in about 5 years.

Occasionally I find a gig as a photographer's model, not for pay, just to get pretty pictures.

MOST of all, I'm also a MOM! I have a 2-year-old boy and am currently 4 months pregnant with #2 and very excited!
