do you have a picture of your coop? So we can help better, I was thinking your coop was 3 sided. Need a pic pleas

tdgill Here they are!  Not the best pictures but should give you an idea.

ok sorry I see you did post pics lol. Just wrap it in a nice clear tarp. We used heavy duty zip ties to tie ours down last year yours is made of wood and you can always staple plastic onto the pen and use slats to hold it in place. Pretty small pen , do they get out of it during the day?

I have a similar set up - but a bit smaller as I only have 3 hens. I have been putting the wood shavings in the tray underneath the roost in the small coop. The run consists of dirt. Should I be putting something on the floor of the run to keep it warmer? We have a tarp on the run which prevents most snow and rain but not what blows in from the sides. I'm afraid if I cover the sides that they won't get enough fresh air...Sorry to hijack your post!

Cover every thing except the shortest side under the coop. This way the coop kinda keeps anything heavy from blowing in, but still provides a dry area under the rest of the run.
