Hi, I’m about to start incubating six Indian runner duck eggs and I want to be prepared! I have a candler, an incubator (of course!) and I’m about to purchase a hygrometer- furthermore I am not sure what hygrometer to get I am looking at getting the htc 1 off Amazon, is that alright? Also I was wondering if an anti slip mat is really necessary, if so I will ovcourse get 1, many thanks, Freya.

Sounds good! I use paper towels or a thin towel as a hatching mat. Seems like you're ready! Happy hatching

Ok thanks for the help I will definitely use paper towels or a towel instead of spending any unnecessary money! Good tip. Fingers crossed all goes well. P.s. should I put the hatching mat in at the start of incubation or when they hatch thank you.
