What do to with a VERY cracked egg, chick peeping

Found it this evening just outside the duck's nest. Very cracked, about 1/3 of the shell coming off the membrane, and some blood. It's in the incubator for now, shuold it survive, sounds like a chick, vs. a duck too - not that there's a lot of difference.

I've looked through several threads, taping this up doesn't seem to be an option - there's a leg sticking out.

Did fine, and we've gotten it into a nest with a chicken - who has five ducklings!
