What do you all think about Euthanasia?

I am for it. Just to comment on this thread. I have always been for physician assisted suicide. I really find nothing to debate about on it, and it's a sensitive topic that I try to avoid debating on. If someone disagree's with me, I recommend that they watch the film "How To Die In Oregon" and that will be the end of the discussion on my part.

I believe that euthanasia is a personal choice to be made by the individual involved. I don't think that a Doctor should be forced to assist in euthanasia, but there should be a list readily available of Doctors willing to assist. What I find most interesting is that the threat of euthanasia has forced the medical community to more seriously consider pain relief.
