What do you do with your Swiss chard?

Spanakopita! Usually recipes call for spinach but I have found it to be even better with chard, and it is a great way to use a TON when the garden makes excess!

Fry mushrooms in frying pan 'till about half cooked, put chard/spinach on top, put lid on and steam over gentle heat for a minute or 2. Mix packet mushroom soup powder with milk or prepare packet of mushroom etc flavour pasta sauce and pour over mushrooms and chard/spinach. Cook slowly if using soup powder. Mix it all together with some grated cheese and serve with gnocchi.
Non-vegetarians can add bacon bits to mushrooms when starting.
This mixture is also very nice in lasagne.

Otherwise take lots of spinach/chard with fried onions, cooked green beans, feta cheese and use as quiche filling. Beat one egg and mix with cup of fresh cream, pour over the top and sprinkle over some grated cheese and dried herbs before baking.
