What do you feed your chickens as a special treat?

Mine go crazy over bread!! Any kind will do for them. The also love scrambled eggs and yogurt!! They come running out to me every morning cause they know i have some goodies for them!! Love my birds!!

Mealworms live preferred but still go bonkers for dried, crickets, cottage cheese, tomato's and meat.

Shredded mozzarella cheese, dried rolled oats (cheap oatmeal, no added salt) are the SPECIAL treats. BOSS is their daily treat. (My Cayuga ducks get the same thing, PLUS a handful of the dry cat kibble when I'm going out to put food out for the yard cat.)

My chickens go NUTS over bread!

If one of them gets a big piece they play keep away till its gone.

My Grey Leghorn Snowbell really seems to like oatmeal!

Make sure you have tons of lobster though because us big'ems LOVE lobster

My chicks LOVE tomatoes!!! they also get bread, celery, and sometimes shredded cheese. Also, peanuts in the shell are a fun treat.

oatmeal (cooked), dried cranberries, meat of any kind, cabbage or other greens, leftovers from restaurants (chicken bag), meal worms, sunflower seeds, cauliflower, yogurt. Occasionally they'll get something REALLY good like remainder of the thanksgiving day turkey carcass after we boiled it for soup.... they just annihilated that thing. They love eggs but they only get those when I find damaged/cracked eggs and that isn't very often now.
