What do you like to do with your eggs?

Sell the best(pays for all feed and supplies) eat the rest.
Hatch some out every late winter to replenish fresh layers.
Eat the extra cockerels hatched and the old hens.

I get about 3-4 dozen a week.
I use about a dozen at home, between myself and my hard boiled egg loving dogs...

I fill mom's fridge with the rest, usually about 6 dozen at a time or so.
Siblings know to help themselves, but always leave a full dozen behind.

Makes for interesting arguments at family dinners as there is always an odd number of dozen...

After so many years, you would think they would realize I do this on purpose. Entertaining to see grown adults argue over a dozen eggs...

I keep the neighbors beside me in eggs, they don't complain about my zoo so its a good trade. Feed a few back to the girls and bake with the rest. I do plan to hatch a few for my mother in law next spring, maybe keep one or three for my flock.

Pickled, deviled, in breakfast burritos, french toast, pasta carbonara.
Sunny side up with home cured bacon and toast from homemade bread on a cold rainy night.
Thinking about homemade eggnog soon!
I give them hard boiled to all the animals and feed back all the shells,. I just rinse, dry on a paper towel and break with my hands til small. We share with my parents and kids, trade with neighbors or just give some if we have extras. I figure they can't complain about the egg song if they take my eggs

Egg sandwiches! Egg, cheese, avocado, tomato, bacon, whatever we can find in the fridge, all on a bagel or in a tortilla. Every day we have enough eggs to do this we do.

Egg salad with some avocado is pretty yummy neighbors let my chickens free range there yard for some eggs and can't beat boiled eggs and saltines. I wanna get involved in my local farmers market next year to sell some Lord willing.

I get way too many for us to eat! I incubate too many of them. My broodies incubate too many of them. I give some to co-workers. Boil some to feed back to the birds. Sadly, I probably throw away more than anything.

I have 12 girls too, usually 7 eggs a day so 50 eggs a week-ish. I sell some at work ($2 / dz), though only one person is buying right now. I give eggs to my parents and aunt & my kids take some to their dad's house. I have a bantam so we always keep her eggs & any giants the others lay for ourselves. I make an egg and cheese omelet for lunch some days, we have brinner once in a while. I'll make scrambled eggs for the chickens as a treat. We keep the shells, dry them and refeed to the girls. I'm constantly looking for recipes that my kids will eat. We do eat deviled eggs & egg salad, but we aren't very adventurous. I probably have 4 dz in my fridge right now & 7 in a bucket on the counter from yesterday. I put them in the carton and tape a post-it not to the top saying when they were laid so I make sure I don't sell the old eggs.
