What do you put in your water

I heard a little bit of a sniffle so I added the polyivsol to the water. Figured it was an easier way to get it in them!

*L*A*G* :

apple cider vinegar??? what does that do?

ACV slightly elevates a chickens pH and diseases do not like acidic environments. I use Bragg organic ACV, you can get it at the grocery store. Make sure it's in a plastic waterer though.
My girls have no vaccinations and never received any medicated feed. They get only organic treats and feed. I have not had one sick hen or death. I also give them organic yogurt a few times a week.

I don't put anything in their water. I would if they had something wrong with them and needed treatment or support, though.

I'd be really happy if THEY never put anything in their water...

I really agree with that. It gets old after the first 600 times having to clean their water right after you fill it. They love to sit on top of the waterer and then they poo and it goes right down the side.

I use Apple Cider Vingar too.

*L*A*G - I use about 1 tablespoon per gallon.

ACV isn't very expensive, and you can get it at just about any grocery store.

.

For it to be beneficial you need to use the non-distilled ACV that has the "mother" in it. Only place I've been able to find it is at health food stores.
