I'm using it on my iPad and it is hard to navigate around and quite slow...
I agree that those recent reviews are a waste of space...if there is no auctions then how am I going to buy my hatching eggs from all those wonderful people?
It may take some getting used too but at the moment it is hard to use...

Now, if I can just figure out how to mark a thread as "read". I never did that with the old site. Is that when you can mark a thread from where you last left off reading?
So this is weird. I started reading this thread today. Got to about page 12, when I decided to skip to the last page. Half way between page 1 and 12, I'm gonna say maybe page 8 or 9 (wasn't paying attention) I noticed that all of the sudden most of the ads were gone on the right, and my screen went to almost the full page. I didn't change anything. I have one ad at the top, by Freedom Rangers, then a list of Recent Reviews, than the currently viewing box. Is this normal? Not that I'm complaining, or anything, but it just seems that alot of people have had to alter things to get a fuller screen, or less ads. I saw the tutorial on you tube, but didn't help me much, as I hardly retain things the first time around. I really haven't navigated too much around. Main complaint for me is just cosmetic. I agree too bright (thank you who ever mentioned adjusting brightness on their monitor. Not sure why I didn't think of that
) And the font outside each thread, not in each thread themselves, but when looking at the rest of the site, seems a bit too small. Before I learned how great most everyone was here on BYC, one of the reasons I came to BYC a few years ago was simply due to the fact that the site was easy on the eyes. Sounds weird, but some of the other poultry sites had the same kind of set up as this does now, and I found in kind of annoying, for lack of a better word. I do appreciate all the hard work that went into this, and I'm sure that I will continue to use the site, though.
Oh, I don't have spell check when I right clicked, so WHOOOO HOOOO for the spell check option on this new site!!!!!
Oops, I lied. Now I have another ad to the right. Weird. But still, they only are on the top part of the right side of the page. Halfway down the page, nothing is on the right at all.
I updated firefox (one of the projected problems) to the most recent version, and the forum is still running slower than crystallized honey. BUT it isn't my internet, because BYH and ever other website is working great! And why the frak doesn't it let me use firefox's spell check? Seriously, if I use the right click over the word needing fixed (as done in FF), it pulls up 'paste' with this new forum software. No, I want to spellcheck when I right click, not paste darnit. I hate how this new format overrides the normal browser tasks.
Still with Gritstar's opinion many posts back, hate it will a passion. Might go find another chicken based forum if the bugs aren't fixed. Seriously, the issues are worse than a brand new game release where they hurry release and just patch problems later.

This is what I have. I like that the boards stretch across and there's no clutter to the side. The top part is still pretty cluttered with those giant ads. As I said in a previous post, ads are fine, but giant ads make things ugly as well as the large column for Recent Reviews. I'm not really a fan of the L shape it makes, but that's simply personal preference.
I have not voted yet, but so far I too miss the old one. Why do people always have to fix whats not broken? Well I love all of the info on here and will take sometime to get used to this one and then vote. I also find the site to bright and the crap on the right side is annoying.
