yes, i know about indentured servents... poor folks or even criminals had to serve 7 years(usually), for passage to America...

If you look back into history, white children and women were sold and traded as slaves quite frequently. Pretty much any color it didn't matter. Slavery is an age old concept, not indentured servitude, but hard core slavery. Pretty sad actually.

Agreed.. almost ALL races have slavery in their past ... its not just a black peoples past, like so many think.

I may need to check that book out, sounds interesting.
