Here goes a idea was talking to a few bycers in chat and that it would be nice to have somewhere to add other members to a list sorda like a buddylist not just for chat but for the whole forum, that way we could keep track of who we talked to about diffrent things like who to get eggs from who to send them too, people close buy etc. this would be really nice, and doesnt have to be all complicated its just that if we had to keep all the emails we talked to all the diffrent people about to keep track of who wants eggs who lives close by etc we wouldnt be able to get anymore msgs so please just let me know what you think of this idea as i believe it will help us all thanks for taking time to read this

Hey Robert, I'll reply while I'm thinking about it. This has been requested a few times, but we want to be careful about spreading ourselves too thin. We don't want BYC to try to compete with all the features you'd see on Facebook, MySpace, etc.

That said, we'll always be adding features that our members need and want (that are good for the entire community) so keep the ideas coming.

i see what you mean i mean it doesnt have to be something where you have like instant messaging or anything just like a online phone book or somewhere to keep important name nothing big just a organized place to store names thats it but i totally understand what you are saying by not trying to be like other sites but eathier way thanks for responding especially this late at night thanks ill keep a eye on this to see what the final verdict is

Here is another suggestion i came up with from another post about the backyard chicken shirts:

this is just a suggestion for a design for shirt why dont you guys hold a contest where byc members draw up a desighn then post it, and have forem open for a certain amount of time then cllose it, have people vote on top 5, then just out of those top 5 or 3 if you want, have bycers vote on those for the 1 they like best that way you know people wil like the shirts and they will see just an idea im throwing out there, it would be nice to get all bycers involved let me know what you think thanks



i posted it on that thread but not sure if you would find it there or not, (apologizing ahead of time if this double posting is agianst the rules) so i just posted it here let me know what you think it is a good way to get bycers involved more, and it doesnt just have to be shirts you can hold a design a bumper sticker campain or what ever else but i thinks this is a good idea, well im off to think of more as i am on here atleast 12 hours a day lol bye bye for now
