What Do You Want Added To The BYC Forum & Site?

I think we should have a birthday page!
People could submit their birthdays on a certain post/separate page and we could...
never mind, people probably wouldn't want their b-days/identities floating around out there.
It's a little stupid I guess.

I'm digging up this old thread. We've added a ton of new items since we started the forum. The big ones are of course Chat, Personal Pages, and Private messages.

What other feedback do you have? What are some other tools / features would make BYC even better?

I want to be careful not to have BYC be an everything to everyone site, but I want to make sure we're filling the needs of our chicken community as best as possible!

Break down the "Buy ~ Sell ~ Trade ~ Giveaways" by state. instead of searching the titles.

A birthday pop out banner which says Happy Birthday to Silkie chicken etc when we log in!!!

On the top of the page (stickied) it says to list your state in the subject line. Problem solved.

I know that, but I personally get tired of searching through the titles to look for a state near me. Not to mention the ones that don't put a state. Not everyone who posts reads the stickies.

Pictures of egg, chick, and adult chicken, breed, hatchery and breeder etc.

THis way people can look through and go hey that is a really nice Marans and maybe I want to get eggs from them. Wow that hattachery is improving their stock with better quality stock and now the marans have darker eggs.

It would be great to see the side by side comparisons and help us newbies and even the more experienced better select resources for new chickens.

If someone already mentoned this sorry for the repeat but then you know people really want this.
