what do you want for the hollidays

A winning MegaMillion ticket!

If I were making up a "wish list" I'd say a dremel or a specific garden cart I have my eye on (Only $70). Doubt I'll get those, ROFL.

There is a cook book I may buy myself & I will buy myself some Merino Wool Socks.
I want a couple of books about Button Quail, too.

I figure I'll have those under the tree from someone.

I already bought a band saw and a table saw, and a workshop table. Got those cheap at estate sales and called them family Christmas gifts. Also ordered myself a magazine subscription to Urban Agriculture for next year.

Rozzie alpaca socks beat wool socks by a mile. I live in mine
http://www.breezyridgealpacas.com/ is owned by a friend of mine and the extreme boot socks are the best they have cute 'pacas on the bottom. I got some last year for my FIL a harley riding mechanic after he wore them he requested two more pairs.

I am going to be totally selfish and wish for 4 days on a sunny beach. NO kids, hubby or drama. Just a couple of great friends, a few novels and a fruity drink. My husband and I haven't exchanged gifts for almost 4 years. We give the entire budget for the kids. But I can dream.

I want my kids to wait for 2 hours after opening their gifts before they say there's nothing to do. Our whole budget is for the kids this year too. I think we will do without. Boo Hoo.

I suspect that the Merino socks will be more my fitting for my budget this year.

I do have one pair of these. They are lovely. I love my alpaca sweaters, so I'm sure I'd love alpaca socks.

We have a juicer like that. It is that putrid yellow color that was popular in the 60s or 70s (along side the green). Works amazing! All metal parts except the ugly yellow. DH and I joke it would juice a cat...of course, we would never do it!! Things are made as strong as they used to be!!

What do I wish for?? A day off. I have been working 7days a week for the past month...I refuse to work T-giving weekend. What do I want for Xmas? no clue....honestly. A clean house and time off?

OHHH YEAH! I've wanted one of those buggers since I was 13 years old... and have never yet been able to justify the expense... well, and in this house the only one that would fit and still be functional without juggling would be the 4.5qt that is horrific to try and find.

Seriously though... Money so the kids have a decent one... with Janie seeing the vet twice in a month the budget is getting smaller and smaller... told MIL I'd love a copy of Omnivore's Dilemma...

For the girls maybe an mp3 player with the music they like. My dd is 11 and would like one video game and a new mp3 since her old one wont hold a charge. Maybe some seed kits.Enchanted forest. I like giving books.

I would like dh to say finally,"Yes hon we can move south. No more winters for us." Unlikely so I am hoping for some good topsoil and mulch in the spring, and $50 to spend on edible landscaping. For the actual holidays I would love some carry out chinese food, someone else doing the dishes, and someone else taking over ALL animal care for one day.Oh and someone else shovel the drive!

In the end I guess I will be happy if everyone(animals too) are not sick.
