What do you wear on your feet, to the coop ?

I got these cute rubber shoes from TSC...they are yellow with red lady bugs on them. They have tears in them however, after only 2mos of use!

If your barefoot all the time your feet get tough, and they are very easy to clean and if your afraid of bacteria keeping chickens is not a good idea, they are full of them.

do you where gloves when you have a cut or sore

Crocs...crocs...and knock off crocs!!

I own about 12 pair of different colored crocs. I wear them everywhere!! If they're dirty when I come in from the pens, I wear them into the shower and wash them off!!

Just went to a Croc outlet store last week...it was Croc heaven!!

No, I put a band-aid on the cut. I actually go barefoot 99% of the time, just not around the chickens or cows. I have to wear gloves most of the winter. I have raynaud's syndrome.
ETA: I'm not "afraid" of bacteria or a germaphobe. I've seen the devastating effects of bacteria gone wild in my family. I don't ever want to visit that experience again.

I have 2 pairs of skechers "crocs." We call them my mud shoes, because I do chicken duty & garden duty in them. They're great because I can hose them off. It's rare they get chicken muck on them, but they are perpetually muddy from the garden.
