I went to the feed store looking for some DE.....I know it's D Earth...but what is the first word? They had no idea what i was talking about. Isn't this common stuff and should be known as DE at a feed store??????

The guy tried giving me this stuff that was like a powder that i sprinkle over the chickens and in the nests....but it said wash immediatly if it gets on your skin....flush eyes and call poison control if it gets in eyes...etc etc.... I don't want that around my boys since they pick up the hens all the time.

What is it i should have asked for?

    Thanks for any info,
    Jodie
